Cover Story Characters Can Return to Canon
Oda also debunked a long-standing fan myth — that characters from cover stories never return in the main narrative. He listed multiple examples who did, including Buggy, Django, Wapol, CP9, Jinbe, and even Yamato, teasing that the latter will “definitely appear again.”
