The Elbaf arc in One Piece has reached its emotional and explosive peak as the long-awaited God Valley Incident finally concludes in Chapter 1165, titled “Echoes.”

Eiichiro Oda delivers one of the most cinematic battles in manga history, showcasing the combined might of Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp against the unstoppable, demonized Rocks D. Xebec.

The Beginning of the End: Demon Rocks Unleashed

The chapter opens where 1164 left off, with Garp asking Roger whether he can also hear Rocks’ voice, a sign of his distorted will.

Moments later, the two legends launch a furious assault on Rocks, whose demonic power has turned the island into a battlefield of chaos.

Elsewhere, a young Dragon threatens a Marine officer, demanding the evacuation of civilians—a subtle glimpse into the revolutionary spirit he would later embody.

Meanwhile, Imu, using Saturn’s body, orders the total erasure of God Valley from existence.
