Yami and Nacth struggle, until Adra approaches them.
Nacht gets very worried, but Adra just casually asks if he should lend them power.
Adra: I’ll help you out~ the one with Dark Magic~
Nacht is very shocked, but Adra explains that Yami’s body is now the perfect vessel for a devil to possess, since Yami became a sacrifice for opening the gate to the underworld.
Yami is also shocked and asks why Adra would help them.
Adra: Hmm… I guess… you humans are more fun after all…
Adra: It was the same during the Lucifero fight, Welll, that time things went just as Lucius predicted though… but you’ve been the manager to hold your own against Lucius up till now…! Even though you humans have absolutely no chance of winning…!!!
Adra continues his monologue, about how he got all excited somehow while watching humans fight, and instead of following the predictable Lucius, he’d find it way more fun to stick with lunatics humans who fight to death.
Yami takes up his offer and becomes a host for Adra as a foolish gamble.
Lucius telephathically asks Adra what the meaning of this, who just says it’d be boring if Lucius won.
Adra has light magic and so with Yami, they are the perfect counter to Lucifugus – Morgaen, who they cut down at the end of the chapter.
